A flush plate is a small architectural detail, but one we see and touch every day.

RTY began with a simple idea: not to reproduce a standard flush plate in wood, but to rethink it as an object in its own right.

I wanted the shape, proportions and the relationship between the two buttons to define each model. The function remains familiar; the expression changes.

Wood brings something I cannot fully control. Grain, tone and texture vary from piece to piece, giving each one its own character. That unpredictability is part of what draws me to the material.

The wood is treated with particular care for the bathroom environment, while preserving what makes it feel natural. The finish protects the surface without hiding the grain, texture and character of the wood.

And because this is an object you actually touch, the material becomes part of the everyday experience.
